Normocarb HF Approved by FDA
On July 26th, 2006 Dialysis Solutions Inc. received an NDA approval from the FDA for their new product Normocarb HF. Normocarb HF is a hemofiltration or replacement solution approved for direct infusion into a CRRT circuit in the treatment of acute renal failure. Normocarb HF will be available with bicarbonate concentrations of 25mmol/L and 35mmol/L.
Normocarb HF will be launched in the US market in October of 2006.
Dialysis Solutions Inc. has been manufacturing specialty bicarbonate based solutions for the CRRT market in North America since 2002. Normocarb was the first bicarbonate based dialysate solution to be commercialized.
